Engaging students with the gospel of Jesus Christ, with the vision of living the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

Establishing students in their understanding of the faith in the basics of the Christian life.

Equipping students to follow Christ in all aspects of their lives and to disciple and lead others.

Exporting students in accordance with God's unique design for the individual, strategically for the building of the Kingdom through the local Church.

SO THAT

Leadership can be raised up to strengthen the Church, expand the university ministry, and extend the Kingdom of God throughout NZ and the world.

FOLLOW HARD AFTER CHRIST
Christ’s all-surpassing worth compels us to wholeheartedly pursue a deep abiding relationship with Jesus as our greatest treasure and joy. We delight to follow his Word, his will, and his ways. Because the gospel calls us to be conformed to Christ in all aspects of life we desire that he be magnified in all that we are and in all that we do.

LIVE BY THE WORD OF GOD
Christ’s authority compels us not to trust in ourselves, but to trust in Him. God’s Word is the foundation of all that we do and we submit ourselves to it in all matters. Believing that the gospel enables us to attempt great things for Christ and His Kingdom, we choose to walk by faith and take strategic risks.

LOVE PEOPLE IN A COMMUNITY OF GRACE
Christ’s love for sinners compels us to live out the gospel of grace together as an authentic body of friends and believers. We welcome and love each person in his or her uniqueness, gifts and struggles. We are convinced that as we do this, the love and reality of Christ will be clearly shown to the world.

REACH THE LOST
Christ’s compassion for the lost compels us to give our lives away in reaching those for whom he died. Burdened for the lost world, we strive to take the gospel to those who need the Savior.

MULTIPLY THROUGH LIFE-ON-LIFE DISCIPLESHIP
Christ’s commission compels us to reach the many primarily through the few. God’s method for reaching the world with the gospel is through building mature disciples who will then disciple others. We trust that God will not only use us to multiply labourers, but to multiply ministries as well.

DEVELOP LEADERS
Christ’s burden for the harvest compels us to develop labourers who will lead themselves and others. The Church is need of men and women who will fulfill Christ’s purposes in the world. We are committed to building leaders who exert kingdom influence in all areas of life.

LABOUR AS A TEAM
Christ’s example in ministry compels us not to work alone but to labour together in the building of the kingdom. We are convinced of the need for partnership and a diversity of gifts and strengths. This will enable us to better engage a lost world & complete the task God has given us.

WORK THROUGH THE LOCAL CHURCH
Christ’s eternal purpose for his body, the Church, compels us to labour with and through the local church. We believe in the authority of the local church. We also understand that the fruit of ministry must be incorporated into the local church to be further established, equipped, and enabled for life and ministry.

PRAY FOR A MOVEMENT
Christ’s sovereignty compels us to pray for God’s Spirit to bring about a movement of men and women who take seriously His command to make disciples of all the nations. As we walk in obedience, we depend upon God to cause the growth around us and beyond us.
